Future Programs and Services
To address the divers and multifaceted challenges faced by the homeless and low-income populations. Triple S wants to offer a range of specialized programs, each designed to target specific areas of need. There programs will include:

Homeless Female Veteran Program: Providing shelter, support, and resources tailored specifically to female veterans who face homelessness.

Each member brings unique expertise and a shared vision for empowering those we serve. Together, we strive to create meaningful change and foster a culture of compassion and support.

President
Stephen Johnson Sr
Stephen W. Johnson Sr. is the Co-Founder and President of Triple S - Serving and Saving Souls, bringing over 25 years of expertise in addiction recovery, relapse prevention, casework planning, and mental health advocacy. His extensive experience in supporting individuals through life’s challenges has made him a trusted resource in the community. With seven years of dedicated mentorship for single mothers raising sons aged 7-16, Stephen is committed to fostering resilience and opportunity for families in need.
Driven by a passion for service, Stephen specializes in advocating for unsheltered and widowed female veterans, ensuring they receive comprehensive assistance, housing resources, and emotional support. Through Triple S, he works to provide stability and empowerment for displaced individuals, recognizing the importance of tailored interventions and long-term solutions.
His leadership extends beyond Triple S, with a history of guiding organizations in community outreach and program development. He has served as Vice President of Gethsemane Ministries, leading initiatives to support vulnerable populations, and as President of Bethel AME Men’s Group, where he fostered leadership and mentorship programs. His role as Wilkinsburg Community Day Organizer further reflects his commitment to strengthening local networks and inspiring positive change.
Stephen’s background includes Small Business Administration (SBA) training at the University of Pittsburgh, equipping him with strategic planning and organizational leadership skills essential for nonprofit growth and sustainability. His ability to integrate business acumen with humanitarian outreach underscores his effectiveness in nonprofit management and community development.
Beyond his professional and volunteer commitments, Stephen finds fulfillment in fishing, golfing, music, and traveling the country in his RV. His faith serves as the foundation for his work, guiding his unwavering dedication to serving others and making a lasting impact on those in need.

Vice President
Naima Sturdivant, M ED.
Naima Sturdivant is a dedicated public school educator with 16 years of experience in the field of education. She is deeply passionate about advocating for and supporting the unhoused population, working to provide essential resources such as food, hygiene products, clothing, and other vital necessities.
Currently serving as Co-founder and Vice President of Triple S - Serving and Saving Souls, Naima plays a pivotal role in strategic planning, operational leadership, and organizational oversight. She is responsible for managing key departments, guiding staff, and ensuring that all initiatives align with the nonprofit’s mission to serve and uplift vulnerable communities.
Her commitment to service and leadership reflects her unwavering dedication to making a tangible impact in the lives of those in need, fostering meaningful change through both educational and community-driven efforts.

Treasurer
Michelle Bryant-Kyles
Michelle Bryant-Kyles is a Co-founder and a dedicated member of the Board of Directors at Triple S – Serving and Saving Souls, bringing extensive experience in finance and nonprofit management to support the organization’s mission of serving the unhoused and marginalized communities.
Professionally, Michelle is employed as the Assistant Controller at Industrial Scientific Corporation, where she leads a team of finance professionals, develops and implements financial strategies, and ensures compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. Michelle joined the board in 2025, motivated by a deep passion for helping others become self-sufficient and empowering the youth. As a board member, Michelle contributes by guiding strategic initiatives, chairing the finance committee, and fostering donor relationships.
In addition to her role at Triple S, Michelle has been involved in various community service activities and has held a previous board position as the Treasurer of The United Methodist Church. Michelle holds an MBA from Argosy University and a Bachelor of Science in Business from Point Park University.
Outside of work, Michelle enjoys solving puzzles, writing poetry, volunteering at various local charities, and spending time with friends and family.

Secretary
Leslie Johnson
Leslie Johnson is a Co-founder and a committed and experienced Board of Directors at Triple S - Serving and Saving Souls, bringing over 27 years of expertise in the gas detection industry and more than two years of dedicated service to nonprofit organizations. Her passion for supporting the unhoused and underserved communities is evident through her volunteer work and leadership roles across multiple boards.
In her professional capacity, Leslie serves as Customer Relationship Manager at Industrial Scientific Corporation, where she strategically oversees customer engagement and experience management. She joined the board of Triple S in 2025, driven by a lifelong mission to serve, teach, and empower individuals facing hardship. As a board member, she plays a pivotal role, as the Secretary, in executing strategic initiatives, maintaining organizational records, and supporting the nonprofit’s mission-driven team.
Beyond her work with Triple S, Leslie has also held leadership positions with Gethsemane Ministries, where she served as Program Coordinator, further demonstrating her commitment to community impact and nonprofit development.
Outside of her professional and volunteer endeavors, Leslie enjoys serving her local church, fishing, traveling in her family RV, and spending quality time with loved ones.

Event Coordinator
Brittney Shipp
Brittney Shipp is a Co-founder and dedicated member of the Board of Directors at Triple S: Serving and Saving Souls, bringing 8+ years of Business Management to support the organization’s mission of creating and expanding the services for the Homeless.
Professionally, Brittney Shipp serves as a Pharmacy Fulfillment Technician at CVS Specialty Pharmacy, where she plays an important part in making sure patients get the medication(s) they need to survive and stay healthy.
She joined the board in April 2025, motivated by a deep passion for helping the less fortunate and the Homeless epidemic. As a board member, Brittney Shipp contributes by guiding strategic initiatives. Because of her various experiences, she brings a multitude of values to company.
In addition to her role at Triple S: Serving and Saving Souls, Brittney Shipp has been involved in Princess of Allies.
Outside of work, Brittney Shipp enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and learning new facts.

Event Coordinator
Channele Bryant
Channele is a Co-founder and a dedicated member of the Board of Directors at Triple S – Serving and Saving Souls, bringing over 10 years of experience in volunteering, fundraising, and organizing events to support the organization’s mission of serving the homeless community.
Professionally, Channele worked in the banking and healthcare field for 8 years, prior to becoming a homemaker, where she excels in managing household responsibilities, from meal planning and cooking nutritious meals to organizing family activities and maintaining a harmonious home. As a dedicated stay-at-home mother, she has embraced the rewarding journey of nurturing and raising her children with love, patience, and inspiration. With a background in fashion and interior design, She brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to her role as a Board Director at Triple S – Serving and Saving Souls.
She joined the board in 2025, motivated by a deep passion for serving the homeless and other vulnerable communities. As a board member, Channele contributes by volunteering, fundraising, organizing events, and fostering donor relationships.
In addition to her role at Triple S – Serving and Saving Souls, Channele is also an active member of her community, volunteering at local schools and participating in various community sporting events.
In addition to her role as a mother, Channele really enjoys redecorating her home for each season, crafting, gardening, and exploring the great outdoors. She believes in the importance of fostering creativity and curiosity within children. Channele's commitment to her family and community reflects her dedication to making a positive impact in the lives of those around her
